Tom was saddened when he saw that the orange tart he baked failed. He got excited for a week just to bake that tart but it all went into nothing. He couldn't figure out why he didn't make it. He thought it might have been the egg. Or maybe, the pulp of the orange. Or maybe, the oven. But that was not the end of it. He tried to bake once again an orange tart with lower heat in a longer time. He also modified the ingredients. And then...Abdacadabra! The second attempt to bake an orange tart was very successful!With a light grin on his face, he could bake more orange tart. He said to himself, "There will always be first time!"

two fish

Two fish are having a discussion inside the aquarium. One suddenly blurts out, "I don't want to be here anymore. I want to be out of here." Then, another fish answers the first, "Why, do you have wings to fly? Do you have legs to walk? We only have gills."

i was wrong

His mother told him to take up an engineering major in university.

At first, it was just all right. He could cope with the subjects in the lower year of engineering. But as days went by, he could no longer have the appetite to continue. That was not the thing he liked. But because his mother wanted it so he decided to take it without grumbling knowing in his mind also that he could do it.

After two years of studying in the field of engineering, he decided to follow what he liked. Journalism. He excelled much making him an editor-in-chief of his school organ. He also graduated with flying colors.

Now, he is one of the best writers in the world. He gazes upon the past and tells to himself, "My mom did not do anything wrong, I did. But now, everything is all right!"

second thought

At first, he had a second thought of going. But because he really wanted to pursue heading to the place he wanted to reach, he still proceeded.

While he was on a bus, suddenly, a stunk smell of the screeching tires began to suffucate him and everyone inside it. He panicked. Everyone did. All of a sudden, he felt like the bus was going on  a zig zag way as if it was a snake quickly swerving down to the an edge. He prayed for the Lord's will and protection, but, the bus fell into a cliff.

The next day, a report stated that everyone in the bus passed away. Terrible, it was.

"Lord, guide me as I travel in my life today."

Bowling and singing come together as brothers. Nothing is this world amuses me much except them. People might say these are not so much interesting compared to other activities but for me they give me much pleasure. No matter how trivial these things may be to other people, for me, these fascinate me a lot. It is not how mundane things maybe, but, happiness matters most in doing something.When you feel that you want to do something that you really want, go for it and do it. Don't let others put you to rest doing what you really enjoy. As long as they don't bother people, nor tiring to the soul, have freedom to do them. It is all about you, not them!

men's prayer

Two men were seen praying in different churches.

The first man sincerely spoke to God, "Lord, forgive me for all my tresspasses. I know I made a mistake especially today. I really needed to do it because of my ailing son. Forgive me, Lord. I promise I won't do it again. Please help me Lord to obey Your will. In Your mighty name, amen."

The second man solemnly uttered this prayer to God, "Lord, for the person who took my money today, please take everything from him now. Give him a lesson that he will learn forever. Punish him. I know that that person doesn't deserve your love. I believe that he is a bad person. Make me not like him. Make me holy, Lord. In the name of Jesus, amen."

A timid girl of about 5 years of age asked a naughty young boy while in a playpen at a fast food chain:

Timid girl: Do you have a mother?
Naughty boy: Yes. How about you?
Timid girl: I have, but I don't know if I can call her my mother.
Naughty boy: Why did you say that?
Timid girl: She is in Milan, Italy. I have never seen her. Maybe she doesn't know me.
Naughty boy: She works abroad so she has much money?
Timid girl: She has other kids there. She's forgotten me.
Naughty boy: I am sorry for that.
Timid girl: Am I bad not to call her 'Mom'?
Naughty boy: No, you're not. I have no one to call dad as well. My mom told me he abandoned us when I was younger.
Timid girl: Poor you. Do you think we could be good Mom and Dad in the future?
